And clever Pan Detection uses electromagnets to sense when something is set down, making cooking safer and more efficient. Smart. If pan-searing your sirloin has made things a little steamy, the Hob2Hood feature will kick in to automatically turn the extractor on. Is that peppercorn sauce taking too long? PowerBoost technology quickly increases the temperature if you’re in a rush – we’ll take ours medium-rare.
